Welcome to Gib-UK BSAC Dive Club :

GIB-UK trains both military and civilian divers using the BSAC curriculum. GibUK offer try- dives where you can try diving initially to make sure it is the sport for you.
Continue through the various diver structured grades which follow such as Ocean Diver, Sport Diver all the way up to the advanced grades and courses for both divers and instructors.
The Club meets every Wednesday evening at Gibraltar Barracks, Blackwater, Camberley from 7pm - 9pm. Location Map Here


First Battle-Back try dives

3 Soldiers, including one double leg amputee, from Headley Court took part in the the first diving activity as part of the Battle-Back re-habilitation on 12 Nov 08.
All had a great time, spending over 30 minutes underwater, practicing basic mobility, neutral buoyancy and mask clearance.
Gib Uk will conducting regular try dives for soldiers under-going rehabilitation under the Battle-Back Scheme.

Learn to dive - Ocean Diver Course in November

The next Ocean Diver course in in Novemeber, Use the contact page on the website or come along to a club night on a wednesday evening and speak to the instructors. Dates TBC which weekend

Military Personel Remember - you must have an in date diving medical to start diver training - see your medical centre and request a sport diver medical ASAP. All paperwork required here.

GIB-UK to become RESDA

From the 01 Jan 09 Gib-UK will be re-branded RESDA - Royal Engineer Sports Diving Association. The club has always lead the way in quality sports diver training, and the move will secure the future of the club at a time when capital equipment spend was required.
